Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications to fill the part-time role of Quest & Community Education Instructor for the Department of Continuing Education’s Quest program on the Walla Walla Campus. This program offers non-credit learning experiences to community members age 50+.

General Responsibilities:
The Quest & Community Education Instructor delivers high-quality, engaging instruction in their
area of expertise to adult learners through the College’s non-credit, lifelong learning Quest (50+
demographic) and Community Education programs (all ages). Instruction is offered across
multiple modalities, including in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
Instructors support Walla Walla Community College’s mission by fostering lifelong learning,
curiosity, and practical skill development. Courses are not for academic credit and are taught
based on approved proposals, enrollment minimums, and established program standards.
Instructors collaborate with Continuing and Community Education staff to ensure effective
course delivery, a safe and inclusive learning environment, and positive learner outcomes.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of the college. Must reside in either WA, OR, ID, CA, IL, NE, NV, PA, or TX.

This is a part-time instruction assignment contingent on enrollment and located at the Walla Walla Campus. Persons hired must be able to provide acceptable documentation of lawful employment to work in the United States within three (3) days of employment and provide transcripts if applicable. WWCC participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. Candidates may be subject to a criminal history background check as a condition of employment. Information from the background check may not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant’s suitability and competence to perform in the position. Compensation
Compensation for Continuing Education instruction is determined on a sliding scale based on class enrollment numbers ($41.79 to $93.53 per hour). Classes are subject to cancellation based on low enrollment.
