    The C. Harper CDJR of Connellsville is actively seeking an Experienced Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive service, a passion for delivering quality work, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves a variety of duties, including testing vehicle systems, diagnosing issues accurately, conducting repairs, and ensuring vehicles in our service drive are maintained to the highest standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough testing to verify that systems and components are secure and functioning properly.
    • Diagnose vehicle issues accurately by isolating the system or components that may have caused the problem.
    • Perform road tests to assess repairs and ensure all systems are operational.
    • Check and refill fluid levels as necessary and ensure proper tire inflation.
    • Replace oil filters and drain plugs, and communicate oil levels and other vehicle needs to teammates.
    • Maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
    • Proactively identify and replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns or further damage.
    • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools to perform a variety of tasks safely and effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of automotive systems with the ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and accurately.
    • Effective analytical and communication skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair and service procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
    • Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
    • High School Diploma or GED (required).
    • State Certification or Technical Degree (preferred).
    • Minimum of one year of experience in an automotive service department (preferred).
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
