Quick Service Kitchen Associate/ Cashier

This is a temporary role which can last up to 6 weeks.

This role requires individuals who are comfortable working in ahigh-energy food service environment, assisting customers, handling transactions, preparing food, and keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is a fast-paced, dependable individual who can work efficiently while safely performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Must be comfortable handling money, able to work early mornings, and capable of maintaining efficiency during busy service periods.

Work Schedule

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM- 2:00 AM

Peak Operations Periods

During certainhigh-demand project periods, the operation may runextended service hours including Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Additional hours may also be available duringspecial events or increased service demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate POS register and accurately handle cash transactions
• Prepare and serve food items including burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and salads
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and service area
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Work collaboratively with a small team in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with food prep and service during busy periods

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previousfood service, fast food, convenience store, or restaurant experience preferred
• Experience operating acash register or POS system
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work early morning shifts
• Comfortable working in ahigh-volume service environment
• Ability to multitask and maintain cleanliness standards
• Basic kitchen or food preparation experience is a plus

• Must completepaid training in Kings Mountain, NC (2–3 days)
