Quotes Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the timely processing of customer quotes. Electronic product quote processing requires administrative ability, analytical thinking, excellent mathematical aptitude, and strong attention to details. Excellent communication with customers and company management.

This position requires the use of information that is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and /or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export- restricted information.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quote processing including the review and organization of documentation package, including RFQ, BOM, Assembly Drawings and technical files.
• Data Entry to databases and excel spreadsheets, distribution and recovery of work for generation of reports and letters.
• Maintenance of various reports and files.
• Customer and interdepartmental communication at all levels of the company.
• Facilitating workload flow down to Quotes Associates & Program Managers and reporting on quote status. Assuring work is being prioritized and completed in a timely fashion.
• Mentoring and instructing Quotes Associates and Account Managers on proper procedures and processes and reviewing work being processed to be sure procedures are being adhered to.
• Ensuring Quotes procedures manual is updated with new processes, procedures and processes change or add.
• Customer BOM conversions to Excel or quoting software.
• Creation of RFQ's for submission to suppliers.
• Other duties as required
