QUOTING / COST ESTIMATOR
Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Compensation: $52K+ (Based on Experience)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quoting / Cost Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate's Degree in a technical field preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both an office and a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to review technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Occasional visits to the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate quotations.
- Estimate material, labor, and production costs.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system.
- Perform cost analysis and prepare detailed quotes.
- Work with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure accurate pricing.
- Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Maintain costing, pricing, and quotation records.
- Complete quotations accurately and on time while meeting project deadlines.
