The environment supports hands-on problem solving, structured development processes, and investment in people through training and professional growth opportunities.Job DescriptionLead R&D projects by defining scope, resources, timelines, and deliverablesAssess technical feasibility and develop new product solutionsAct as a technical lead within cross-functional project teams to deliver agreed objectivesWork closely with operations, quality, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycleGather and interpret customer insights through research, interviews, observation, testing, and competitive analysisDesign robust, manufacturable products using sound engineering fundamentalsUse modelling and analytical tools to simulate systems, evaluate data, and support decision-makingDevelop, execute, and analyse test methods, including defining equipment, set-ups, and measurement systemsPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholdersAuthor and review engineering change documentation and support controlled implementationLead issue resolution activities, including risk assessment, prioritization, and closureProvide hands-on engineering support for both new developments and existing productsProactively generate innovative ideas to enhance product performance and create new solutionsEnsure all work complies with quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulationsAct as a strong advocate for the customer throughout the development processMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
