Job Title: R&D Engineer, Software – Intermediate
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Pay rate: $50/hr - $58/hr on W2
Mon-Fri, 8a-5p
Duties:
Fundamental responsibilities include working with engineering teams to design and implement software manufacturing test processes to exercise the features of new products introduced to market.
Become familiar with theory and practical application of time domain measurements using test equipment such as sampling diodes and Optical to Electrical (OE) converters.
Use software design technical experience in developing manufacturing test solutions using different types of pulse lasers and trigger frequencies.
Skills:
Experience with object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Java desired).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Must-have / Desired Qualifications:
Experience interfacing with electronic equipment using SCPI (desired).
Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and electrical engineering fundamentals (desired).
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
