Job Description -
- Seeks a detail-oriented R&D Lab Technician to join our team and work on testing new technologies for a range of medical devices.
- In this role, the associate will be a part of an R&D team contributing to establishment of test methods to assess the viability of technologies involving the chemical and material aspects of medical devices while supporting stability and degradation testing.
- The successful candidate must have experience with basic lab techniques and be capable of learning new experimental tools.
- They will work with the project team members to execute technical assessment work in development of formulations and other medical device technologies/products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in completing test procedures, operating test equipment, and accurately recording measurements with limited supervision
- Daily use of laboratory tools and equipment such as weighing balance, pH meter, tensile testers and other measurement related formulation characterization for R&D processes
- Prepare and pack devices for stability assessment
- Communicate results and information verbally and in written form (reports, presentations)
- Willingness to occasionally work with biological specimens (e.g. tissues) for lab scale testing
- Assist with other projects as needed
