JOB TITLE: R&D Engineering Test Technician 
LOCATION: Onsite
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing / Product Development

JOB SUMMARY:
Theoris is seeking an R&D Engineering Test Technician to support product development through hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and analysis. This role will execute design verification testing, assist with root cause investigations, develop test methods and fixtures, and support new product development initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute design verification and performance testing for new products and processes.

Support R&D engineers with testing, analysis, and technical recommendations.

Document and distribute test results, reports, and procedures.

Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on prototype and electronic products.

Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and test fixtures.

Assist with prototype assembly and specialized test equipment development.

REQUIREMENTS:

AS or BS degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.

3+ years of relevant testing or laboratory experience.

Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and instrumentation.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with electronic product testing preferred.

Familiarity with SOPs, test methods, and quality documentation.

Knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, ASME, or CSA preferred.
