In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of medium-voltage overhead switching products, including design, testing, product localization, and ongoing product care. You will collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive innovation, improve reliability, and optimize product performance. This position blends hands-on engineering with product lifecycle ownership in a team-oriented environment. You'll make a difference by: Driving product lifecycle management, product care, and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting design, development, and localization of medium-voltage overhead switching products Leading validation, testing, and qualification activities, including hands-on testing Partnering with operations, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams Advancing design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturing initiatives Implementing product improvements based on performance and feedback Maintaining technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and reports Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience with the following: Medium-voltage products, switchgear, or overhead switching equipment Electromechanical engineering design and development NX and Teamcenter or similar CAD/PLM tools Product validation, testing, and manufacturing introduction Cross-functional engineering collaboration Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of UL, IEEE, or utility standards Experience in product lifecycle management, product care, or localization Familiarity with SAP or ERP tools Understanding of IT systems or TCP/IP communication Experience in a global engineering environment You'll Benefit FromSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
