Title: R&D Project Manager
Location: Eatontown, NJ
Rate: $35-39/hr on W2
Duration: 6+ Months
Note : 3 yrs of exp in NPD with Project management skills will be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
* Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
* Confers with project staff to outline a work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
* Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
* Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
* Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
* Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
* Holds customer meetings and manages customer communications.
* Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
* Understand and document customer/project requirements.
* Define and document product/engineering specifications and other project deliverables.
* Develop and optimize designs or processes for implants and catheter-based systems.
Qualifications/Experience;
* 4 yr. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related science field.
* Project Manager certification a plus.
* 3+ years' experience in a new product development environment, manufacturing environment
* Strong leadership experience
* Proficiency with required Computer-Aided Design and Engineering tools.
* Creo and AutoCAD are preferred
* Proficiency with typical office software, word processors, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
