Job Description & Skill Requirements:

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and improve Medium Voltage (MV) Reclosers, switchgear, and electrical power distribution equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical design, product development, and design optimization activities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, failure analysis, design reviews, and reliability assessments.
• Develop and validate designs in accordance with IEEE C37.60, IEC 62271-111, ANSI, UL, CSA, and NEMA standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 10+ years of experience in electrical power equipment, switchgear, reclosers, circuit breakers, or related products.
• Experience with Medium Voltage distribution equipment and protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of IEEE/IEC/ANSI standards and product certification requirements.
• Familiarity with CAD, electrical design tools, and engineering documentation.
• Experience working with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualification:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
