Title : R&D Senior Engineer - MV Reclosers
Location : Mebane, NC (Onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking an R&D Senior Engineer MV Reclosers with 8+ years of experience in electrical power equipment, preferably with expertise in Medium Voltage (MV) Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop MV Reclosers and electrical power equipment.
• Perform root-cause analysis, design reviews, reliability analysis, and product improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE C37.60, IEC 62271-111, ANSI, UL, CSA, and NEMA standards.
• Support product testing, validation, and certification activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and validate engineering solutions.
• Conduct and support dielectric, thermal, and structural analysis/simulation.
• Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design records.
• Support IP generation and product IP strategy.
