KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Drywall Finishers (Tape & Texture) to join our Interior Finishing Department. Help deliver high-quality finished interiors for our manufactured homes while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
Beginning August 31, 2026, eligible production employees will transition to a NEW Monday-Thursday work schedule (6:00 AM-4:30 PM), giving you a three-day weekend every week while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

What You'll Do
- Apply 1st and 2nd coat taping and mudding to drywall surfaces
- Perform touch-up work to ensure smooth and finished surfaces
- Apply texture finishes, including stomping and other patterns
- Assist with painting and finishing work as needed
- Finish ceilings and wall surfaces to meet quality standards
- Ensure all work meets company quality and production expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous drywall finishing, tape & texture, or painting experience preferred
- Experience with mudding, taping, texturing, or finishing work
- Proficient with drywall tape and texture tools (bazooka, angle box, seam box, nail spotter, roller, glazing tools)
- Experience applying 1st and 2nd coat finishes with consistent quality and production efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work on ceilings and elevated surfaces
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Work Schedule
Until August 28, 2026
- Monday-Friday
- Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- After Training: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Overtime and occasional Saturdays as production requires
Beginning August 31, 2026
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Three-Day Weekends Every Week!

Work Environment
