    KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Electricians to join our Electrical Department. Help power every home we build by installing safe, reliable electrical systems while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

    Monday–Thursday work schedule (6:00 AM–4:30 PM), giving you a three-day weekend every week while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

    What You’ll Do
    • Perform rough wiring in manufactured homes
    • Install switches, outlets (receptacles), and electrical devices
    • Install and connect main electrical panels and breakers
    • Install lighting fixtures and components
    • Route wiring and ensure proper connections according to specifications
    • Test electrical systems for functionality and safety
    • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable codes
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

    What We’re Looking For
    • Previous electrical or construction experience preferred (residential or manufacturing)
    • Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring methods
    • Ability to read measurements and follow diagrams or instructions
    • Strong attention to detail and safety
    • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

    Licensing Information
    Electrical license not required for this position.
    This position is not an electrical apprenticeship or licensing program.
    • KIT Custom HomeBuilders does not provide or issue electrical licenses in-house.
    Hours worked at KIT are not tracked or certified by the Company as qualifying hours toward an electrical apprenticeship, journeyman license, or other outside licensing requirement.

    Requirements
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
    • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
    • Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight or confined spaces
    • Ability to work at heights, including getting on roofs as needed
    • Ability to use hand tools and electrical tools safely
    • Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
    • Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

    Work Schedule
    Monday – Thursday
    • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    • Three-day weekends every week (Friday–Sunday)
    • Overtime paid at 1.5x when applicable.
    • Occasional Fridays may be required based on business needs and production demands.

    • PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, appropriate protective gear)
