KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Electricians to join our Electrical Department. This is a full-time, year-round position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with consistent hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Do
- Perform rough wiring in manufactured homes
- Install switches, outlets (receptacles), and electrical devices
- Install and connect main electrical panels and breakers
- Install lighting fixtures and components
- Route wiring and ensure proper connections according to specifications
- Test electrical systems for functionality and safety
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous electrical or construction experience preferred (residential or manufacturing)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring methods
- Ability to read measurements and follow diagrams or instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight or confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights, including getting on roofs as needed
- Ability to use hand tools and electrical tools safely
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- After Training: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
- Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
Pay & Benefits
- Starting at $24.00+/hr. DOE
- Weekly pay (Fridays - one week in arrears)

Work Environment
