KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Shingle Installers to join our Roofing / Shingles Department. This is a full-time, year-round position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with consistent hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.
What You’ll Do• Install roofing shingles on manufactured homes
• Perform hinge roof close-up and sealing tasks
• Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and sealing of roofing materials
• Inspect work to ensure quality and weather resistance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We’re Looking For• Previous roofing, shingle, or construction experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Ability to work at heights and on elevated surfaces
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Additional Requirements• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work on roofs and elevated structures
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Schedule• Monday – Friday
• Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• After Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
• Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
Pay & Benefits•
Starting at $24.00+/hr. DOE
• Weekly pay (Fridays – one week in arrears)

• PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, appropriate footwear, fall protection as required)
