This role supports both commercial vehicle maintenance and an active multi-series race program - offering variety and flexible hours in a calm, well-supplied environment, without the pressure of flat-rate billing.Position: Race Mechanic / Fabricator / Fleet MaintenanceWhat You'll Do:Maintain Ford E250/E350 vans and F150 pickups (2004-2016)Prep Broncos, Jeeps, UTVs and Race UTVs, for off-road eventsSupport drag boat prep and pit operations (ADBA and CDBA race programs)Perform R and R of motors, drivetrain service, and general mechanical workRoute and assemble braided fuel lines, cooling, and basic plumbing systemsAssist with light fabrication - grinding, tack welding, fit-upFollow direction on pre-designed mechanical buildsSupport travel/pit crew operations at select race eventsShop Resources:Heated and cooled private facilityFull Snap-On tool suite and fabrication equipmentProDemand diagnostic softwareNAPA Car Care ProLink system with OEM charge accountsTasks assigned through Office 365 with clear notes, photos, and deadlines - no guessworkLight recordkeeping only - no billing dutiesRequirements:Experienced with automotive, fleet vehicles, off-road, or racing equipmentStrong diagnostic skills - able to find and solve problems efficientlySelf-motivated and able to manage a task list independently without constant follow-upComputer literate - diagnostic tools, parts software, and task management appsClean, organized, and comfortable working in a professional shop environmentClean driving record requiredOpen to part-time or full-timeFull-time includes health insuranceBenefits: Health insurance (full-time employees),Corporate profit-sharing opportunity,Rece travel expenses covered for event supportNote:Major engine and transmission rebuilds are outsourced.
