Shift: 8hr Night Shift (16)

Shift Information: Part time 3rd shift- 1-3 8 hour shifts per week with every other weekend rotation (Friday/Saturday)

Clinical Interviewing- No

On Call, Call Back Requirements: Yes, one call shift per week

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend rotation

Holiday Requirements: One call within 13 week contract

Floating Requirements: Floating start times 2100-2200

*Part Time - 40 hrs biweekly*

• Level III Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Magnet Designation
• Primary Stroke Center
• Beds: 636

Unit Information:

• Beds: 5 diagnostic, 2 fluoro, 1 video swallow, clinic has 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room
• Census: Average patients/day: 15-20 per tech per day

Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of acute or surgical experience

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Depending on skill level- looking for techs with highly competent surgery and procedure experience

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, Procedural, all age ranges, little peds

Required License, National Certification, Certs: ARRT, WI License, BLS

Skills required:

• Surgical/Procedure, General, Portables, Mid-high level hospital experience
• Fluoro: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases
• OR: ortho, general, spines. Preferred comfortable with o-arm.

Support within the Department:

• Lead tech on 1 ^st shift
• Radiologist on site 24/7
• 14 techs on days, 7 on second shift, 3 on 3 ^rd shift
• RT 24/7
• Hospitalist 24/7
• Intensivist 24/7

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• X-ray equipment: Client, Fuji, Del Medical
• PACS: McKesson
• C-arm: Client 9900 and Elites and Healthcare o-arms

Orientation (facility and unit) :

• NEO
• 7 days in department

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• On call: If so, what is that schedule: Yes, one call shift per week
• 1 ^st call 0630-1400, 2 ^nd 1400-2230, 3 ^rd 2230-06300
• Holiday Expectations: One holiday per contract
• Shift times: Dependent upon posting and needs. Usually flex 1-1.5 hours between start times, depending on staffing
