Job Summary and Qualifications The Radiologic Technologist assists the Radiologists or independently performs ordered imaging procedures specific to diagnostic imaging and related techniques, producing diagnostic images for interpretation. Radiologic Technologists must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Radiologic Technologists must maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and imaging technique. They must maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Radiologic Technologists provide age specific patient care based on assessment data, current knowledge/skills, department policies/procedures and physician orders.
