We are seeking a dedicated Rad Tech-Cath to operate in our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory. This vital role combines technical expertise with compassionate patient care, offering you a rewarding opportunity to contribute to life-saving procedures in a dynamic medical environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and advanced cardiac imaging equipment to produce precise images of coronary and peripheral vascular conditions.
  • Monitor patient vitals and conduct hemodynamic assessments during procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Assist physicians with procedural setup, patient preparation, and post-procedure cleanup, maintaining sterile and safe environments.
  • Document procedures accurately for billing and quality records, and perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients, respecting their privacy and needs.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and hospital protocols, ensuring minimal exposure for staff and patients.
  • Adapt to flexible scheduling, including on-call, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 hospital operations.

Required Skills:
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid state licensure and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as an allied health professional.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in using fluoroscopy, PACS, and medical imaging software.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform complex, potentially hazardous tasks accurately.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with complex interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a cath lab or similar cardiac imaging environment.

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes healthcare setting with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential communicable diseases.
  • Must pass background checks and health screening requirements.
