Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Job Requirements
Required
Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
4 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist working in and proficient in 1 advanced modality or 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and working and proficient in 2 advanced modalities, one of which must be CT or Mammography.
Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, upon hire
In addition to Radiography licensure , must possess and be competent to work in a combination of 2 of the following: MRI, Mammography, CT, IR
One advanced Certification must be CT.
Completion of annual safety training.
Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
