JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Radar Test and Analysis Engineer will work primarily within research and development engineering groups with responsibility for a wide variety of tasks. The primary tasking will be a variety of testing tasks using radars. We are looking for engineers with entry to master level skill sets who work well in both theoretical and practical domains as part of an iterative process to create innovative solutions for a multitude of relevant domain challenges as partially described below.

In addition, in a general sense, there may also be other assignments available in planning, performing, and overseeing research, design, development, production, testing, installation, integration, sustainment, operation, and maintenance of radar equipment used for radar testing. The Radar Test and Analysis Engineer may also independently perform a range of design, development, analysis, or review tasks under generally established project deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Engineer:
Applicants must have an engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program. US-only citizenship and eligibility for a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance are required. Applicants must have a valid, state-issued driver's license. Minimum requirements/experience for each level Engineer listed below:
Engineer I: The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution.
Engineer II: The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution with 2 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited Master of Science in Engineering.
Engineer III: The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and 4 years of related engineering experience or have an accredited Master of Science in Engineering with at least 2 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited doctoral degree in Engineering.
Engineer IV: The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from and ABET-accredited academic institution and 8 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited Master of Science in Engineering with at least 6 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited doctoral degree in Engineering with at least 4 years of related engineering experience.
Engineer V: The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and 14 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited Master of Science in Engineering with at least 10 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited doctoral degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of related engineering experience.
Engineer VI: The candidate must have a Master of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and 16 years of related engineering experience, or an accredited doctorate degree in engineering and a minimum of 12 years of related engineering experience.
Ops/Test Analyst
Applicants must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable employee to serve as a technical authority of projects relating to specific programs. US-only citizenship and eligibility for a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance are required. Applicants must have a valid, state-issued driver's license. Minimum requirements/experience for each level Ops/Test Analyst is listed below:
Ops/Test Analyst I: Completion of technical training and 4 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 2 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics).
Ops/Test Analyst II: Completion of technical training and 7 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 4 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 2 years of related experience; or a related master's degree.
Ops/Test Analyst III: Completion of technical training and at least 10 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 7 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 4 years of related experience; or a related master's degree and 4 years of related experience.
Ops/Test Analyst IV: Completion of technical training and at least 14 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 11 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 8 years of related experience; or a related master's degree and 8 years of related experience.
Ops/Test Analyst V: Completion of technical training and at least 20 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 16 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 14 years of related experience; or a related master's degree and 10 years of related experience.
Ops/Test Analyst VI: Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 20 years of related experience; master's degree and 16 years of related experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.
Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
