The cancer center is located within the hospital, providing dedicated radiation oncology services in both clinic and inpatient settings. The facility is equipped with a TrueBeam, Unity MR Linac, and Siemens CT to support advanced treatment planning and delivery. Epic EMR and Aria are utilized to facilitate coordinated patient care and documentation.

Kansas offers a range of regional activities suited to varied interests across all seasons. Outdoor recreation options include wildlife park experiences, aquatic centers, and lake beaches, while indoor attractions such as skydiving, escape rooms, and discovery centers provide additional options. The state also hosts a variety of arts, music, and cultural festivals throughout the year, alongside museums, guided hikes, and family-oriented events.

The radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based and inpatient radiation oncology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with night and weekend call coverage required on an as-needed emergency basis. Daily responsibilities include managing 30-35 patients on treatment, overseeing 1-5 inpatient cases as needed, and conducting 1-2 new patient consultations per day. The clinician will provide ASTRO Conference coverage and utilize Epic EMR, Aria, TrueBeam, Unity MR Linac, and Siemens CT for treatment delivery and documentation. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required, along with an active Kansas medical license or IMLC candidacy.
