Radiation Oncology Physician – Bridgeton, MO

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
  • Shift: Day 5x8-Hour
  • Hours/Week: 40
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • License/Certifications: Valid Missouri license; BLS; BC in radiation oncology
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year

Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $327.60
  • Pay Package: Competitive pay packages discussed upon application

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and on-treatment evaluations
  • Review imaging, assess toxicity, and manage supportive care
  • Perform procedures including CT simulation, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy
  • Collaborate with radiation therapists, physicists, RN, and dosimetrists
  • Ensure case logging for stereotactic cases and maintain accuracy in treatment planning
  • Support the hospital-based cancer treatment unit with high-quality patient care

What You Need:
  • Required: MD/DO, BC in Radiation Oncology, Missouri license, BLS certification
  • Preferred: Experience with multiple case types (breast, prostate, CNS, head & neck, lung, GI/GU, skin, emergent cases), familiarity with EPIC/ARIA, and case documentation
  • Additional Skills: Expertise in advanced radiation procedures, imaging review, toxicity assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Join a hospital-based radiation oncology unit supporting adult and geriatric patients. Work alongside a skilled team performing a variety of radiation therapies including stereotactic, IMRT, VMAT, and brachytherapy. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology supporting comprehensive cancer care.
