Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist to join a busy outpatient Radiation Oncology department. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality radiation treatments while working alongside physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to provide exceptional cancer care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately.
- Perform treatment simulations and patient positioning.
- Fabricate immobilization devices and shielding when required.
- Perform daily equipment quality assurance checks.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and oncology staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active ARRT (T) certification.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
- Experience with Varian and ARIA systems or previous travel/staff experience using these platforms.
Preferred:
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam.
- Experience with Trilogy.
- Experience with ARIA Oncology Information System.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Full-time contract.
- 40 hours guaranteed weekly.
- Monday–Friday schedule.
- No weekends.
