We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsThe Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System. In collaboration with Radiation Oncologist dosimetry cancer center coordinator front office staff the patient the patients family and other members of the health care team the Radiation Therapist evaluates the treatment plan delivers accurate radiation therapy treatments performs simulation CT scans maintain accurate radiation therapy treatments records and insures proper scheduling and billing. The job may also include assisting with the development of radiation therapy staff scheduling participation in morning meetings weekly chart review participation in process improvements and other responsibilities as required by management.What qualifications you will need· Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as a Radiation Therapist Registered or registry eligible by ARRT· BLS - Healthcare provider and other certifications as defined by department· Graduate of an ARRT accredited program with a degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy.HCA Trident Hospital is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals Trident Hospital and Summerville Hospital and three freestanding emergency departments Brighton Park Emergency Moncks Corner Emergency and Centre Pointe Emergency.We provide care to nearly 375000 South Carolina Low country residents each year.
