Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Therapy team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and accurate radiation treatments while working closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and other members of the oncology care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients according to treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify patient identity, treatment site, positioning, and treatment parameters.
• Assist with patient positioning and immobilization.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and communicate any concerns to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and department procedures.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
