Join our team at Hackettstown Medical Center, located in the picturesque town of Hackettstown, NJ, where you can make a difference in the Radiation Oncology Department.
Duties
- Deliver radiation therapy accurately and operate treatment units with minimal supervision.
- Perform daily and monthly QA for linac and CT, and accurately execute IGRT, SBRT treatments, and portal imaging.
- CT/Simulate patients following protocols, construct immobilization devices, and use IV contrast for simulation.
- Lead CT Therapist responsibilities include training therapists in CT/Simulation and ensuring necessary forms are ready for physician completion.
- Maintain and verify all aspects of MOSAIQ for daily treatment management and attend weekly chart rounds.
- Adhere to department policies, safety standards, and radiation protection principles, and report equipment malfunctions.
- Operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery, create IGRT documents, and maintain accurate treatment records.
Skills
- Completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy.
- ARRT certified and registered.
Schedule Notes
Hours are 7:30am-3:30pm or 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
