To safely and correctly operate equipment delivering ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating neoplastic diseases or for other therapeutic purposes. To apply ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. To carry out pretreatment preparations including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required Licensed by the state of Missouri or eligible for licensure required Must be knowledgeable of the operation methods and safety standards of all equipment producing ionizingradiation within the department Must be knowledgeable of the handling of radiation sources Possesses experience and capabilities as seemed sufficiant by the Chief Therapist and Radiation Oncologist
