ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
Experience as a radiation therapist preferred
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
ARRT registration in radiation therapy required (or eligible upon hire and attain within one year)
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good interpretive/analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to perform multiple functions with minimal direction, independent of supervision
Complex problem solving

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear; stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust and focus.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
Performs routine duties independent of supervision, but consults with the Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Medical Dosimetrist and Radiation Oncology Supervisor/Manager/Director as required.
SUPERVISES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
PAY RANGE:
$38.80 - $60.14
