Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care through precise radiation treatment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong clinical experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for supporting both patients and fellow team members in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all therapy treatments are delivered accurately.
• Review charts weekly for accurate documentation.
• Competence to assess the competency of others.
• Ability to monitor productivity and communicate such to the Radiation Therapist (Level II) and/or the Supervisor of Radiation.
• Knowledge and ability to instruct and advise Staff Therapist by providing technical expertise for new or difficult procedures.
• Orientate, and provide in-service training for new employees.
• Communicate effectively with lesser-experienced therapists on appropriate patient care, documentation, and work ethics.
• Maintain department supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of American Management Association (AMA) approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• 1-3 years clinical experience in Radiation Therapy

Pay Range

USD $59.15 - USD $77.09 /Hr.
