Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients in a clinical oncology setting. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff to ensure accurate, safe, and compassionate delivery of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments in accordance with physician-prescribed treatment plans
- Position patients accurately and safely using imaging and treatment equipment
- Operate linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any changes in condition to the clinical team
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and expectations
- Ensure radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures are followed
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Idaho
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical radiation therapy experience preferred
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
