Required Skills:
- ARRT Radiation Therapist (ARRT T) certification
- Valid BLS certification
- State licensure in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in operating advanced radiation therapy equipment and techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, SRS/SBRT
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with patients
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam systems (preferably two units)
- Additional certifications in oncology or advanced radiology procedures
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols within a healthcare setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Sciences, or related field
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinical radiation therapy environment involving oncology and cardiology patient populations
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in emergency relief teams and be assigned to on-call duties when necessary
- Ability to work a consistent Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday
- Commitment to maintaining all licensing, certification, and ongoing education requirements
- Flexibility to travel or receive reimbursements for travel-related expenses when applicable
