The Radiation Oncology department provides advanced cancer treatment using precise radiation therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes. Our team works collaboratively to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for every patient throughout their treatment journey.
The Radiation Therapy Assistant supports clinical operations by assisting with patient care and logistical coordination in radiation therapy. This role enhances efficiency, accuracy, and the overall patient experience through direct interaction and support of clinical staff.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in a healthcare or patient care setting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff are essential. Familiarity with medical terminology and experience in radiation oncology or related clinical environments is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, daytime hours, with occasional flexibility based on departmental needs.
Hourly breakdown of salary range: Minimum $18.26 - Midpoint $22.83 - Maximum $27.40
