Job Title: Radiation Therapy Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Location: 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Department: 725V Cancer Center – Radiation Therapy

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience required.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Current ARRT (T) Certification and state licensure (if applicable) preferred/required per facility guidelines.
• Experience in an outpatient or hospital-based Radiation Oncology department preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician treatment plans.
• Position patients using immobilization devices to ensure precise and reproducible treatment delivery.
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment while following established treatment protocols.
• Review treatment parameters and verify patient information before each treatment session.
• Monitor patients during radiation treatments and respond promptly to any concerns or adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, oncology nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
