Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Architects and designs RF systems and circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications.

• Designs RF circuitry including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.

• Performs hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.

• Prepares test methods and specifications for RF hardware.

• Analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.

• Develops RF system and subsystem architectures including antennas, transmitters, receivers, LNAs, HPAs, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.

• Performs link analysis and optimization including effects of propagation medium and interference sources.

• Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.

• Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs).

• Performs RF system, subsystem, and component trade studies and CAIV analysis.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in RF Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.

• 3-5 years of Communication systems development to include radios, antennas, and/or other related communication subsystems.

• 3+ years of experience with RF analysis tools High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS).

• Preferred: Experience with design, development, and integration of Communication systems.

• Preferred: Proficient in system engineering processes.

• Preferred: Experience with RF analysis including Co-site, Antenna Pattern, and Link budgets.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Military and/or Government programs.

• Preferred: Experience with C-130 platform.

• Preferred: Experience with Ansys suite of RF analysis tools EMIT.
