Delaware Nation Industries is a tribally owned IT and professional services organization that supports federal clients with technology, cybersecurity, engineering, and operational services. Working across the Defense & Space sector, the company partners with federal customers on mission-critical programs that demand reliable technical execution and operational support.
In this role, you will support U.S. Air Force command and control communications by helping sustain essential radiofrequency capabilities and the infrastructure behind them. This position is suited to someone who is comfortable working in a highly operational environment and contributing to dependable communications support for multiple Air Force customers.
Responsibilities
Support the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of radio equipment and associated infrastructure in support of operational command and control (C2) operations for multiple simultaneous U.S. Air Force customers.
Provide operational support for radio ancillary equipment including encryption devices and associated COMSEC keymat, diplexers, amplifiers, antennas, and radio distribution systems.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Tactical Communications (UHF TACSAT) and High Frequency (HF) radio operations.
Two (2) years of direct working knowledge with the operation and maintenance of Air Force line of sight (LOS) and beyond line of sight (BLOS) radio systems (e.g. MIDS JTRS, PRC-117G, URG-III) is preferred.
Familiarity with installation and sighting of antennas such as AV-2012 is a plus.
Experience coordinating with distant ends for configuration parameters of UHF TACSAT nets and HF ALE networks is preferred.
The ability to troubleshoot RF connectivity with external agencies.
Working knowledge of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) narrowband military satellite communication system and M-hop architecture/operations is preferred.
Two (2) years of direct working knowledge with data link systems such as the Joint Range Extension and Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP) JREAP-A protocol for Link-16 satellite communications is preferred.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and a current SECRET security clearance.
Must possess CompTIA Security+ certification.
This position requires ability to travel as required.
