Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a team of IT Radio Technicians to support mission‑critical communications for government and public safety clients in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with hands‑on experience in radio programming, RF concepts, telecommunications, and basic networking. Key responsibilities include programming radios, preparing kits for shipment, managing inventory, and supporting equipment audits and logistics. Daily tasks involve data entry, barcode scanning, and handling subscriber equipment. The technician will serve as the main contact for multiple customer sites, provide backup support to other technologists, and must be able to follow instructions and work independently after training.Day to DayProgram mobile and portable radios, as well as supporting infrastructureOrganize and prepare radio kits for shipment to customer sitesEnter and update data in Excel spreadsheets and Word forms, including barcode scanning for inventory trackingLoad and unload equipment pallets as part of shipping and receiving operationsPick and pack radio system components and kits according to customer specificationsAssist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of subscriber equipmentSupport the receiving, handling, and dispatching of subscriber goods entering or leaving the facilityProvide Level 1 PC desktop support and basic system administrationTrack and report on non‑IT requests using dashboards and data visualization tools to drive visibility and efficiency across logistics workflows and SOPsCompensation$33/hr to $42/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
