Radiographer - Full Time - Days - Southfield

Employee will be based at Southfield practice but could rotate to Novi or Warren. High volume neurosurgery practice.

Department: Michigan Spine and Brain Surgeons

Schedule: Monday- Friday. No Weekends. Office hours are 8:30 am-5:00 pm but start times and end times vary based on clinic schedule.

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
