About the role
Join HealthStaffingInc as a Radiographer II in Adult Diagnostic X-Ray, performing advanced diagnostic imaging in a high-acuity clinical environment. You'll operate both standard and portable radiology equipment across a range of examinations — and may rotate into surgery, trauma, pediatrics, and specialized modalities as needed. This is a senior-level position suited to an experienced imaging professional who can work independently, mentor others, and serve as a departmental resource.

Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks, high likelihood of extension
Pay Rate: $70/hr, OT: $90/hr
Referral Bonus: $500 after placement
Responsibilities
Perform advanced radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including IVP, cystography, GI series, and body section radiography
Operate standard and portable radiology equipment safely and accurately across a variety of patient populations
Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and image quality issues
Serve as a resource and preceptor for junior radiographers and imaging students
Rotate into other diagnostic radiology areas — including surgery, trauma, and pediatrics — as directed by the supervisor
Participate in training programs to build proficiency in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures as applicable
Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and uphold equipment standards for the primary work area
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program OR a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a cardiovascular specialty
Current ARRT, ARDMS, and/or CCI credential in the relevant specialty (must be active upon hire)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques and equipment operation/maintenance
Ability to assess and care for patients across all age groups
Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain procedures to patients and families
Proficiency with clinical computer systems
Preferred:
Associate's degree or higher
Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a certified/registered radiologic or cardiovascular technology professional in the relevant specialty
