What We Offer:
The Multimodality Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating imaging equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. The Multimodality Radiologic Technologists must work 75% in a primary modality as assigned and 25% in a secondary modality
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in diagnostic radiology, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required.
- In addition, certified and registered in two or more of the following: CT, MR, Mammography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine. Certification and registration may be through the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Applicable state licensure, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of procedures and standards for specific modalities based on certifications. Skill in operation of equipment. Certification and registered in additional specialties (not including RT).
- Additional Skills (preferred): Applies advanced skills in area of specialization. Adapts procedures, protocols, techniques and equipment to meet special needs. Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the Centers.
