Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others.
  • Independently performs CT and radiographic procedures at a technical level.
  • Ensures all CT and radiographic images are of diagnostic quality.
  • Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an ex-ray and CT scan (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc.)
  • Uses proper technique to reduce patient exposure to radiation (ALARA).
  • Takes all precautions necessary to ensure the patient's safety during procedures.

  • Associates Of Science Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology and One (1) year of current experienceperforming CT and Radiographicprocedures in an emergency room setting, upon hire and
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire and
  • CT Radiology Tech: AZ, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire

Preferred

  • Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience
