Radiologic Tech Registered - Urgent Care Center

Description

• Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within Diagnostic and Safety Protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media to patients as ordered.
• Maintain infection control procedures.
• Utilization of Unity Novious and PACS.
• Maintain current basic education and certifications.
• Responsible for institutional requirements.
• Implement the use of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals daily.

Education/Experience

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training at an A.M.A. approved school and meets requirements for registry by A.R.R.T.
• Must be registered or, if recent graduate, must pass registry.
• Must be certified in BLS.
