Radiologic Technologist

The Essentials:

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week| Full-Time

Location: Barberton, OH | 72 Fifth St SE |On-Site

Specialties: Radiology | Imaging X-Ray | Diagnostic

What you'll do:

• Product high quality diagnostic images and operates the equipment associated with the Radiology Department.
• Take radiologic films of various portions of the body to assist in the detection of foreign bodies and the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
• Review Radiology requisition and physician order to ensure proper procedure is performed. Identifies patient and test for accuracy.
• Process Radiology imaging requests.
• Ensures that safety devices such as shielding, lead aprons, and gloves are utilized properly during procedures.
• Maintains proper operation of radiology equipment.
• Maintains radiology patient records.
• Performs proper handling of infectious waste and contaminated instruments.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Radiology field or profession preferred.
• License/Certification: Registered technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Licensed in the State of Ohio. BLS required.
