Pay Rate

Local: $1,930 - $2,080/Week
Traveler: $2,155 - $2,255/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations while ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• ARRT certification.

• Valid Ohio Radiologic License.

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques.

• Experience with patient positioning and operation of X-ray equipment and printers.

• Ability to perform routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations.

• Ability to work across diagnostic radiology, nursing units, outpatient areas, and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations according to physician orders.

• Position patients properly and operate imaging equipment to obtain quality radiographs.

• Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

• Assist with imaging-related front desk operations, scheduling, and computer systems.

• Review patient exam information and manage exam orders as needed.

• Coordinate patient transportation through the centralized transport program.

• Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and other departments.

• Provide on-call coverage as required.

• Report equipment issues to Clinical Engineering and management.

• Assist Radiologic Technology students.

• Perform equipment quality assurance and support regulatory compliance requirements.

• Assist with supply ordering, staff scheduling, audits, and other departmental operational duties.

• Access and maintain patient records as required for imaging operations.
