Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)
Location: Novi, MI 48374
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10-Hour Nights (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements

Unit: ER, Inpatient, Outpatient
Trauma Level: II

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures on patients and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain procedures and prepare patients for examinations
  • Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Administer IV contrast media using power injectors
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate care if needed
  • Assist radiologists with sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies
  • Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles
  • Manage image quality and image transfer through PACS
  • Complete study documentation and indexing in RIS
  • Review clinical protocols with radiologists prior to procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical record documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
  • Hospital experience required
  • Experience with Siemens and Philips CT scanners required
  • Workstation experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must maintain required continuing medical education hours

Certifications/Licensure:

  • ARRT (CT) required or registry eligible
  • BLS required

Working Conditions:
