Radiologic Technologist - CT (Community)

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Shift: Night Shift – 5x8.5 Hour Shifts

Hours: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM | 42.5 Hours/Week
Monday through Friday
On Call Required
Rotational Weekends & Holidays Required

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Radiologic Technologist – CT for an acute care hospital setting in Syracuse, New York. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working overnight shifts in a fast-paced radiology department supporting CT and general radiographic procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Perform CT and radiographic examinations under physician and radiologist direction
• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
• Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and provide reassurance
• Set proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate CT and radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain radiation safety and patient protection standards
• Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures
• Process imaging studies and maintain accurate patient records
• Input documentation and billing information into RIS systems
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisory staff promptly
• Follow departmental imaging procedures and hospital protocols
• Ensure compliance with imaging quality and patient safety standards
• Support workflow in high-volume acute care imaging environment
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct standards

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year recent CT or Radiologic Technologist experience required
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration required
• Experience with CT imaging procedures required
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols required
• Ability to work independently in acute care hospital setting required
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills required
• English proficiency required

Preferred:
• MRI experience
• Acute care hospital radiology experience
• Overnight imaging experience
• ARRT (CT) preferred
• BLS (AHA) preferred
