Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift Details
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Additional: On-call required; rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient operation of imaging equipment while supporting clinical and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic examinations as directed by physicians and radiologists
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
- Accurately position patients and adjust imaging parameters for optimal image quality
- Follow radiation safety and protection standards to minimize exposure
- Operate CT and imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions
- Process imaging studies and ensure quality results
- Enter patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and established protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Valid New York State license/registration
- Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the field
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiographic techniques
- Experience operating imaging equipment effectively
- Understanding of radiation safety standards
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
