Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT Tech / MRI Tech

Location: Syracuse, New York

Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension)

Schedule: Evening Shift | 5x8.5-Hour Shifts
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RadiologicTechnologist with CT and/or MRI experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care environment. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and compliance with imaging protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and radiographic imaging examinations as directed by radiologists

  • Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results

  • Explain imaging procedures and provide patient instructions

  • Set appropriate exposure factors to ensure image quality

  • Operate CT imaging systems safely and efficiently

  • Follow radiation safety and protection protocols

  • Monitor and report equipment issues or malfunctions

  • Maintain accurate documentation within Radiology Information Systems (RIS)

  • Follow departmental imaging protocols and procedures

  • Assist with image processing, data entry, and related documentation

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services based on physician orders

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration

  • Minimum 1 year of CT and/or MRI experience

  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety practices

  • Experience operating advanced imaging equipment

  • Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS)

  • Successful completion of required health clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens CT scanners strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols

  • Previous hospital-based CT imaging experience

  • Ability to work independently during evening shifts

  • Strong patient communication and troubleshooting skills
